William J. Canida - Principal and Portfolio Manager

Bill Canida is a portfolio manager of Taplin, Canida & Habacht. In addition to portfolio management, his duties include research and trading.

Prior to TCH, Mr. Canida was Vice President/Senior Investment Officer for Harris Trust Company of Florida, where he managed the firm's individual investment portfolios and was responsible for the investment activity of the Florida office. Mr. Canida has also served as portfolio manager for Amerifirst Florida Trust Company and Southeast Banks Trust Company, N.A.

Mr. Canida received his B.A. in 1973 and his M.B.A. in 1975, both from Indiana Univeristy. He has also attended the National Graduate Trust School of Northwestern University, and was awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 1982.
